Nothing better than finding roads you have never driven. Hidden between roads you have driven along many times.
Google defaults to the quickest route.
For example, this is how Google advises one to drive when coming from Robertson and going to Villiersdorp:
This route takes 55 minutes and has a short cut through Nuy.
The route I took today was south of the Breede river.
It looked like this:
Total drive took 1 hour 30 minutes. Extra 35 minutes.
