He wants to give us life and life in fullness.

He wants us to have a deep and meaningful relationship.

He wants us to step out in boldness.

He leads, protects and guides us.

I am reminded by His presence as a Heavenly Father. He is watching over us and standing by our side.

Our Heaven Father.

David’s life inspires me. He knew the Father. He believed.

His people were burdened by a bully. David’s faith lead him to take on a massive warrior. Goliath.

David was lead by God. David believed and knew His God would be there.

David was offered armor that other warriors used. But it weighed him down.

He kept himself free and light.

David slayed the giant. Against all odds.

My son, 5 years old, is growing in conference. At 3 years old, people would describe him as shy.

Now, at 5, he has stepped into a place of new found confidence.

Today I took him to a Ninja Gymnastics class. His first lesson.

He was nervous 😓 naturally.

He was hesitant to step up but eventually he did. He was there and he engaged.

The miracle of participation was about to take place. He was going to experience life.

Then he disconnected. Came back to me for water.

Once he disconnected, he broke momentum. He lost connection.

As parents, we couldn’t get him back. He resisted.

At that moment, I stood up and walked out the room.

I was so frustrated. I needed to separate from the scenario and regather my thoughts.

During this time out, I felt the Big Guy say he feels like that with me sometimes.

I could be like David. Bold with no fear. Just trust and love.

When I went back, my son had finished his class. He ran up to me, proud as anything. He did it and he loved it.

I knew he would.

He knows I would love the opportunities he sets aside for us.

He wants the best for us.
