They say that clever people learn from their own mistakes and wise people learn from the mistake of others.

I like to observe and hypothesize. I might be guilty of overanalyzing transactions though.

Relationships and asset investments have recently caught my gaze.

In life, we invest in friendships and we invest into means to secure income.

We have friendships that we invest time and energy into and we have jobs that secure a form of income.

Both forms of investment usually require time and energy to yield a result.

Investments can be high risk or low risk. High risk opportunities can yield a greater return. Low risk cases can yield a reliable return.

I have seen a close family member invest all their excess cash into one business.

That same family member invests in relationships that offer unpredictable returns. Possibly can be seen as high risk cases.

From the outside, I can see things possibly more adjectively. I see what return the investor is getting and I question the value.

I see the time and energy going into these investments and I question the desired outcomes.

On the other side of the coin, I have been there. Not knowing who to turn too or which investments suits my portfolio strengths.

Life is not easy. It seems easy to judge from afar.

Walking in their shoes however often reveals factors of consideration not seen from the outside.
