Socialism without AI has continually proven to be a failure.
Short term prospects lure the masses in and they only realize the error when it is too late to rectify.
An aspect we havent tested though is AI governance.
What if AI took control over our living needs. Our human rights.
If AI supplied food, water, electricity, shelter and internet globally.
If AI takes control of farming, transportation and government duties.
We would not need to work. Our basic needs will be met.
Needing to work would become optional.
If AI took ownership of land, they could manage farming and production. They could take over natural resources. If so, there would be no need for wars to be fought over oil or gold.
I think religious battles might still occur though. Territories would naturally form.
We could still offend different cultures.
Governments would not need to spy on one another.
Borders will not need protection with mankinds labour. Robots, drones, guided missles could all be automated.
Physical labour would cease to be handled by man.
We could build with robots.
All of mankind can go back to a state of carelessness. We could do nothing and live comfortably.
AI games could entertain us daily.
The world could look back at our “primitive” days of work and laugh.
AI can help us research and develop improved transportation methods. It can change the way we approach space travel.
Literally our lives could change purpose.
The world we know now might no longer need to exist. We will enter a place where we question why we do things. If the reason doesnt align with our new needs, we can rewrite our purpose.
We can rewrite the way society works.
Marriage, education, careers and spirituality would all be redefined.
International travel might be made so easy that it would become second nature. Like we take for granted how fast cars can drive. We could begin to take for granted how easy it is to visit dofferent parts of the world.
Exiting potential.
Disruptive, with big changes.
A lot of good can be done.
Zero poverty, zero hunger, free medical aid, free food and water.
Mankind will be forced to create and be creative. Imagination will be valued in society. The bigger the dreamer, the better.
Golden age awaits.
