Getting old is not easy.

The way that society is setup, I dont know how the working class provide for themselves in the last quarter.
Assuming that generally speaking, everyone lives to 80 and the retirement age is 65. That last 15 years is tough.
Cant work (and provide for your family). Need to gain income to live.
Things get tough at the end.
Also, your body begins to get rusty. Parts and joints need to be replaced.
Right now, its common practice that the elderly suffer with hip, back and knee issues.
My philosophy is to travel as much as you can while you are young enough to enjoy it.
So often I see sportscar drivers in their last stretch.
If only they could have experienced that sensation in their youth.
Yes, financially they earned enough to reward themselves with an expensive sports car.
Is it too late though?
Is life really about working so hard that by the time you can afford to spoil yourself, its too late to enjoy it?
I am hoping for comfort and convenience in my last years. Simplicity and connectivity.
Thats all we can ask for.
